Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed a nod to her “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” roots in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.
It comes in the form of co-star Kathryn Newton‘s wardrobe, which is based on Buffy’s look in the 1997 pilot episode, “Welcome to the Hellmouth.”
“What’s really funny is I didn’t know any of this,” Gellar tells Et. “Kathryn brought in a picture of Buffy and this outfit. She had sort of had this idea of what it was.”
