Holi, known as the festival of colors, is one of the most eagerly awaited festivities in India and various other nations. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and heralds the arrival of spring. Communities unite to engage in color play, indulge in festive treats, and celebrate the day with joy and camaraderie. In 2026, Holika Dahan will be celebrated on March 3, with Holi festivities following on March 4. To commemorate the occasion of Holika Dahan, numerous Bollywood celebrities took to social media to convey their greetings to fans.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn shared a humorous clip from his movie Golmaal 3, featuring Johnny Lever’s character Pappi Bhai extending Holi wishes to all. He even playfully inquired, “Is today Holi or Diwali?”

Holika Dahan is celebrated on the eve of Holi and is based on the legend of Prahlad and Holika from Hindu mythology. The ceremonial bonfire signifies the eradication of negativity, ego, and malevolence, while reinforcing faith, truth, and righteousness.
