Achille Lauro
One of the most iconic and recognisable Italian artists, Achille Lauro made his name on the hip-hop scene but is constantly evolving and reinventing himself, delving into the pop, punk and rock genres as well.
Born in Verona and raised in Rome, Lauro has achieved both No 1 albums and a No 1 single in Italy, with Mille the nation’s song of the 2021 summer alongside Fedez and Orietta Berti. The song went platinum in just two weeks and has been watched on YouTube more than 140 million times.
Having represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest and performed three times at the Sanremo Music Festival, Lauro is no stranger to the big stage – and he will give voice to one of the defining moments of the final night of the Games.
