Imagine that you’re at the pool and someone is playing, like, a Dido song incredibly loud on glitchy, damaged YouTube speakers. You stick your head underwater to avoid the sound, but you can still hear it, and it suddenly sounds all blurry and beautiful. The new Full Body 2 single is kind of like that.
Full Body 2 — once a trio, now a apparently duo — come from the shoegaze underground, and their last record was the 2023 EP Infinity Signature. They’re planning to release their debut album later this year. Today, they embark on a huge North American tour with fellow Philly band Nothing, and they’ve just shared their extremely hazy, blown-out new self-released single “Turn So Slow.” Check out the song’s Ian Kelewae-directed animated video below.
