Grammy-winning pop superstar Harry Styles leads this New Music Friday with his fourth studio album — and first in four years — Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
Led by the Billboard Hot 100-topping “Aperture,” Styles’ new 12-song set finds him delivering a dance-driven odyssey through yearning, maturation and heartbreak. He topped off his album release day with the music video for “American Girls,” which lands a few days before his One Night in Manchester special hits Netflix on Sunday.
R&B singer Yebba, who we most recently heard from last year on “I’ll Take Care of You” from Tyler, the Creator’s Don’t Tap the Glass, also shared a new album. Titled Jean, the new LP marks her first since 2021’s Dawn, which hit No. 6 on Heatseekers Albums. New York rapper Roc Marciano also shared his new 656 album, featuring two appearances by Harlem MC Errol Holden. This week also gifted the scene new albums from Flying Lotus (Big Mama), Gnarls Barkley (Atlanta), Morrissey (Make-Up Is a Lie), Nettspend (Early Life Crisis) and Hunter Hayes (Evergreen).
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr dropped her new “Where Do We Go,” as did K-pop girl group aespa with “Attitude,” the opening song for the forthcoming Kill Blue anime series. Mexican rock band The Warning followed up February’s Carin León collaboration with the fiery “Kerosene,” which could hit at the group’s highly anticipated fifth studio album.
Speaking of collaborations, Shakira and Beéle teamed up for “Algo Tú,” while Coca-Cola corralled some of music’s brightest stars for their FIFA World Cup 26 anthem. A reimagining of Van Halen’s “Jump,” the new single brings together J Balvin, Amber Mark, Steve Vai and Travis Barker. Canadian singer-songwriter Cameron Whitcomb finally released his new “You and Me” single, and Ty Dolla $ign shared the latest taste of his forthcoming Girl Music, Vol. 1 project, “Bad B—h Alert.”
