One of the most iconic video game companies is celebrating a major milestone.
Nintendo is marking its 40th anniversary on March 10, also known as MAR10 Day, by announcing several festivities for fans to enjoy, which include a chance to visit SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
Fans can enter the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Sweepstakes now through May 31 for a chance to win a theme park vacation for four to experience the themed world either at Universal Studios Hollywood in California, or Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.
What could I win during Nintendo’s anniversary sweepstakes for Orlando?
According to Nintendo, you can win a 4-night trip for four to Universal Orlando, which includes:
- Round-trip airfare to Orlando, Florida
- Ground transportation between the airport and the hotel in Orlando
- Accommodations at Universal Terra Luna Resort
- Admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay water theme park, plus 1-day at Universal Epic Universe
How do I enter the Nintendo sweepstakes?
To enter, Nintendo writes that you must:
- Have a Nintendo Account (if you do not have one, you can register for one here)
- Visit Nintendo’s rewards webpage
- Sign in to your Nintendo Account
- Redeem 10 Platinum Points per entry at the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Super Mario Celebration My Nintendo Sweepstakes page

When will a winner be chosen?
Nintendo says a winner will be chosen by June 16, 2026, in a random draw.
The potential prize winner will be notified by email on or about June 23, 2026. They will have five days to respond.

Universal Orlando hosts limited-time experiences for MAR10 Day
Universal announced on March 5 that its theme parks in Florida and California will offer limited-time experiences, photo ops, merchandise and food for Nintendo’s anniversary. They will be held within SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and at Universal CityWalk in celebration of Nintendo and Illumination’s upcoming film, “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”
They will run daily through Tuesday, March 10, through Monday, April 13, 2026.
How else can fans celebrate MAR10 Day?
In addition to the sweepstakes and experiences at the Universal theme parks, Nintendo shared other ways for fans to celebrate:
- Play games featuring Mario across the last 40 Years
- Get ready for ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ on April 1
- Grab a Lunchables x Nintendo product that has a QR code fans can scan for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch 2 system and a digital game download.
- Join the “Mario Kart World My Nintendo Open Series” – Nintendo Switch Online members can participate in a weekly series of online races in Mario Kart World. Join any of the three in-game events to earn 310 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Nonmembers can start a free 7-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online, even if you claimed this offer before.
