Corey Parker, an actor known for his role on the sitcom Will & Grace, has died aged 60, his aunt Emily Parker has told TMZ.
Parker, 60, was known for his recurring role as Josh, one of Grace’s boyfriends in the hit television series as well as appearing in the Friday the 13th film franchise.
According to a GoFundMe page cited by People, Parker was diagnosed with advanced stage four cancer and revealed an update of his treatment to fans last month.
He had said that radiation treatment helped reduce pain from the cancer in his arm and hips but had affected his ability to speak and overall orientation, adding that there were preparations under way for hospice care, according to the post.
Emily Parker said that Corey Parker had died of cancer on Thursday at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
