As she poured one cup of coffee, Catherine called out to William to let him know his cappuccino was ready. William then called out to his wife to ask if it was decaffeinated.
Laughing and surrounded by people standing at the stall, Catherine replied, “It’s not decaf”.
While he didn’t drink the coffee, William still praised his wife’s barista skills and stated that it was “beautiful enough that you should sell it”.
During a recent podcast appearance, William revealed that he has to have his coffee decaffeinated, otherwise he gets “really agitated”.
According to Marie Claire, the royal said, “If I drink coffee, I get completely bananas. There’s too much caffeine; caffeine gets me really agitated, actually. If I overdo the caffeine, I definitely feel it during the day.”
During the visit, Catherine and William also stopped at the Humble Crumle stall, which is a bakery specialising in the popular English dessert of the same name.
Both Catherine and William put on aprons, with the future Queen pictured making her own humble crumble dessert.
