Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are showing off their New York apartment — and their dog, Norman — in the April issue of Architectural Digest.
The couple’s feature in the mag went live online Friday, along with a 12-minute video where the pair gives a tour of their luxurious uptown penthouse, which overlooks Central Park.
They moved into the residence in 2023, when Verlander was pitching for the New York Mets. The ace pitcher is returning to the Detroit Tigers — where he spent the first 12 years of his career — this season.
“You can look out at the city and enjoy the city, but you still feel like you’re in your own little world,” Verlander tells Architectural Digest of their apartment, which was designed by John Ruggiero, the celebrity stylist turned interior designer who used to do Upton’s hair.
Ruggiero’s goal was to make the place “chic as hell,” and his touches — a shamrock-green kitchen, a home theater painted blackberry color — can be seen in the video shared by AD.
Of the apartment’s color scheme, which relies heavily on pinks and softer hues, “I’m not a man who’s afraid of pink,” Verlander tells the mag. “I love color.”
Verlander and Upton married in 2017 and have two children together — 7-year-old daughter, Genevieve, and a baby boy, Bellamy, who turns 1 in June.
