
Mark Ballas, fans recreate Yam Yam’s ‘Traitors’ murder with their pets
Fans of the “The Traitors” are “resurcurateing pets recreate Yam Yam Arocho’s dramatic Traitors elimination in a viral trend.
If you can remember that far, “What were you like in the ’90s?” The question is trending on TikTok and Instagram.
Celebrities like Halle Berry, Drew Barrymore, and Reese Witherspoon are jumping on the TikTok/Instagram proverbial bandwagon and answering the question, “Mom/Dad, what were you like in the ’90s?
The song “Iris,” playing in the background of those reels, is by The Goo Goo Dolls, who played at the Greenville Memorial Auditorium with No Doubt and Bush in 1996, and at Freedom Weekend Aloft in Anderson in 2007.
So, we thought it would be fun to see what our three largest Upstate cities, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson, looked like in the 1990s, and what we looked like, too. Our cities looked very different back then, and we did too.
In the 90s, we wore everything from flannel shirts and ripped jeans to cargo pants and platform sneakers, paired with fanny packs and bucket hats.
We also listened to music from the following artists, all of whom played in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson: Pearl Jam, Britney Spears, Green Day, No Doubt, Bush, NSYNC, U2, and Janet Jackson.
