Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be going with them, it is understood. A spokesman for the couple said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will visit Australia in mid-April to take part in a number of private, business and philanthropic engagements. Further details will be shared in due course.”
Harry and Meghan’s last visit to Australia was in 2018, where they stayed for nine days during their 16-day royal tour of the South Pacific.
But the new visit will bear no resemblance to the pomp and pageantry of 2018, as the couple will reportedly focus on their passions and their business endeavours.
According to The Telegraph, Harry and Meghan “have made no secret” that the four-day visit is “in part at least, about making money”.
A source told the newspaper: “They have to earn a living. They are private citizens and have to pay the bills like anyone else.”
Meghan will reportedly be looking into expanding her As Ever brand globally, with Australia seen as a good market to test the waters.
The Duchess will reportedly use the visit to Australia to hold a number of private meetings with “potential buyers and marketing executives,” as her team is said to be working on the next step of the brand’s global expansion.
The end of As Ever’s partnership with Netflix is said to have been a positive development for Meghan’s business venture.

A source told the newspaper: “She couldn’t do anything, make a decision or move forward without running everything through them and then waiting endlessly for the outcome of meetings. That’s just not her style, she wants to move forward.”
Meghan will also appear at a gala dinner during a women-only retreat at a five-star hotel at Coogee Beach in Sydney, dubbed “a girls’ weekend like no other”.
Meanwhile, Harry will appear at a “workplace mental health summit” to explore the “need for urgent action to change attitudes”.
He will also reportedly focus on his Invictus Games charity and spend time with the Australian Defence Force, as the country announced it will launch a bid to host the biennial event again in 2031.
The Sussex couple are also expected to “catch up with friends” before returning home to California, the newspaper claimed.
