Meghan Markle has made a subtle nod to her royal wedding as she teased her new launch. The Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever brand is partnering with luxury flower purveyor High Camp Supply to offer a special collaboration, Bloom Box.
The box, which features 18 blooms, includes gardenias, white peonies, mint and jasmine. While some may think the flowers were randomly selected for the box, it is believed that much more thought went into it.
This is because some of the flowers hint to her own royal wedding to husband Prince Harry in 2018.
Her wedding bouquet was also made up of scented sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe and astrantia.
This is because the flower, which is picked from the gardens at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, was first planted there by Queen Victoria in 1845.
Royal brides for years have had the plant in their bouquet, with the sprigs in Meghan’s bouquet coming from a plant grown from the same myrtle used in Queen Elizabeth’s wedding bouquet in 1947, as reported by People magazine.
The product was then launched today, with the box priced at just over £190 ($255). This includes blooms of High Camp Gardenias, Peonies, Camellia Greens, Jasmine and Mint, along with As Ever Herbal Peppermint Tea and Sage Honey with Honeycomb.
The production description reads: “This fragrant set includes a thoughtful mix of long stems for classic bouquets and loose blossoms designed for floating arrangements, allowing for multiple placements throughout your home. This box brings together fresh blooms and simple pantry comforts. Flowers for the table and tea for the afternoon.”
