Brazil will be the stage for one of the biggest music events in the world this year. On May 2nd 2026, global superstar Shakira will perform a show for 2 million people on the sands of Copacabana, in Rio de Janeiro, one of the musician’s most famous beaches and a symbol of Brazilian culture and music.
The show celebrates the strength of Latin culture and its growing global projection, which gained even greater repercussion with Bad Bunny’s performance at the last Super Bowl. The concert is part of the Everyone in Rio platform (“Todo Mundo no Rio”), which transforms one of the world’s most iconic settings into a stage for great cultural experiences.

The first edition of the free concert was held and performed by Madonna in 2024, while Lady Gaga took to the stage in 2025, injecting approximately R$ 600 million into the Rio de Janeiro economy, surpassing the impact of Madonna’s previous show by 30%. In terms of public, Madonna’s concert drew a crowd of 1.6 million people, while Lady Gaga’s entertained over 2 million people at Copacabana Beach.
