“From world-class acts to free community favorites, this season at Iroquois Amphitheater has something for everyone,” said Mayor Craig Greenberg, D-Louisville. “I’m grateful for the work of our team at Louisville Parks and Recreation, our partners at Danny Wimmer Presents and everyone else that makes each season at Iroquois Amphitheater an amazing success.”

Last year, Greenberg and Louisville Parks and Recreation announced a new partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents, which produces Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life. Louisville Parks and Recreation said it has helped bring premier acts to the amphitheater, maintaining its status as a top entertainment venue in the commonwealth.

“There’s nothing quite like gathering with family and friends to watch a movie under the stars at the Iroquois Amphitheater, surrounded by the natural beauty of Iroquois Park,” said Michelle King, executive director of Louisville Parks and Recreation. “Through our ongoing partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents, we’re excited to bring people together, support local arts and entertainment and share one of the most unique settings in Louisville’s park system.”

More shows and special events will be announced throughout the year, Louisville Parks and Recreation added. A full event calendar and ticket info can be found online.

The Iroquois Amphitheater has been a cornerstone of Louisville’s cultural and entertainment scene since its inception in 1938. It is the official amphitheater of Kentucky and is a premier destination for live entertainment, from nationally touring acts to community productions.
