Well, that was awkward.
John Cena had zero patience for a surprise serenade when TikTok singer Harry Daniels approached him in a café.
In a now-viral video posted to TikTok on Wednesday, March 25, Daniels, known for singing to celebrities, began belting out “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift — but didn’t get far.
Cena, 48, quickly stopped the moment, standing up and introducing himself politely before questioning the interaction. “Let’s start with hello,” he said, adding, “Would you like to sing now? For what purpose?”
When Daniels explained his signature bit, the former pro wrestler didn’t hold back.
“Well, I’m not buying what you’re selling,” he replied bluntly.

Daniels, 24, later admitted the encounter didn’t go as planned, writing on TikTok, “Ok this ones on me cuz i had no decorum my bad sorry john cena.”
Fans were quick to weigh in, with many siding with Cena.
“That’s literally on you. Everyone knows John Cena is all about the manners. 😂,” wrote one fan in a comment that racked up more than 83,000 likes.
