WATCH: Air show returns to Atlantic City
The Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival held an air show rehearsal demonstration on Tuesday, July, 15, 2025. The air show’s show day is scheduled for Wednesday, July, 16, 2025.
Two of the country’s most advanced fighter jets will perform at the second Soar and Shore Airshow by Visit Atlantic City, which has moved up the event dates to in an effort to catch the first wave of Jersey Shore seasonal visitors.
Soar and Shore is to run May 29-31. It debuted last year in mid-July.
Visit Atlantic City President Gary Musich said the 2025 show had exceeded hopes for the event. The first Soar and Shore nervously followed a one-year break in the city’s tradition of airshows.
“By moving the Soar and Shore Airshow to May, visitors and locals can kick off the summer in Atlantic City, while experiencing a diverse lineup of entertainment, alongside everything that makes our destination special from our beaches and Boardwalk to local businesses, restaurants and casino resorts,” Musich said this week.
Herb Gillen Airshows is again to handle the flight entertainment. The company also had its debut here with the 2025 event.
The list of acts may change, but for now it’s topped with appearances of the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor and the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II Demo Team.
“You would be hard-pressed to find a more exciting kickoff to summer event anywhere than experiencing firsthand the world’s most sophisticated aircraft soaring over the boardwalk and beaches of Atlantic City,” show producer Herb Gillen said.
“Atlantic City has a well-earned national reputation for its top-quality entertainment and the Soar and Shore Airshow will provide the thrills and excitement that people have come to expect from this city. We expect families from across the region to flock to the beach this May for this incredible and free show.”
