Michelle Pfeiffer may be “having a day,” but we think the star of The Madison still looks pretty great.
The beloved actress, 67, whose first starring film role was in Grease 2, rose to fame in legendary films like Scarface and Dangerous Liaisons. She later became a household name as Catwoman in Batman Returns. In recent years, she’s earned tremendous acclaim as First Lady Betty Ford in The First Lady, and recently starred in the Amazon Prime Video Christmas movieOh. What. Fun. But it’s her groundbreaking role in the new Paramount+ series, The Madison, that’s earning Pfeiffer rave reviews. But despite her star status, Pfeiffer made it clear she still has a rough day like the rest of us. The blonde beauty took to Instagram on Friday to share a harried photo of herself along with an extremely relatable caption.
“Having a DAY🙄,” Pfeiffer captioned the shot, which showed her in the backseat of a car, with her blonde hair tousled.
Pfeiffer Loves a Car Selfie
Luckily, they aren’t all rough days for Pfeiffer. Back in January, she shared another car selfie where she was feeling a bit better.
“Back in the saddle. Happy Thursday, everyone!” the legendary star captioned a selfie, taken from the backseat. With her blond hair swept up into a soft bun, Pfeiffer sported gold hoops and low-key makeup for the occasion. Now that’s cascading through your sixties with ease!
What Has Pfeiffer Said About Aging in Hollywood?
In a recent interview, Pfeiffer opened up about aging in Hollywood and facing a period when the coveted acting roles weren’t available. However, she said she ultimately pushed through and found herself in an even better place.
“For me, I hit a point when it was hard, and then I got over that hump and it was incredibly liberating,” Pfeiffer told Elle Canada recently. “Especially in my work, where sometimes you go from leading lady to grandmother, there’s this sort of no man’s land where you just feel irrelevant. But then you slog through that, and you can end up in a new place. I’m actually really excited about the roles that I’m getting now.”
What’s The Madison About?
Following three other Yellowstone spinoff shows, 1883, 1923, and Marshals,The Madison hit Paramount+ on March 14 and almost instantly earned Pfeiffer rave reviews. The Taylor Sheridan series follows a New York family who settle in the Madison River valley of central Montana. Kurt Russell stars alongside Pfeiffer in a cast that includes Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams, and Elle Chapman.
What’s Next for Michelle Pfeiffer?
With The Madison out, Pfeiffer is doing press for her next project, the highly-anticipated TV adaptation of Rufi Thorpe‘s best-selling novel, Margo’s Got Money Troubles. Premiering on Apple TV on April 15, Pfeiffer plays the flighty mother of Margo (Elle Fanning), a college student who finds herself pregnant and facing financial issues as a single mother.
