Lisa Kudrow is remembering her dear friend Matthew Perry.
Indeed, the Friends actress—who costarred alongside the late actor for the show’s 10-season run—revealed that nearly three years after his death, she watches reruns of the series to honor his life.
“After Matthew passed away, there were marathons [on TV] and that was really comforting watching the show,” Lisa said during a March 27 appearance on Capital FM, “also just because it makes me laugh, and there he was.”
And no shade to the pair’s castmates Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc, but Lisa, 62, noted how she finds Matthew—who died in 2023 from the acute effects of ketamine—especially funny in the beloved sitcom.
“He was so funny, I mean, the funniest,” Lisa said referring to Matthew’s portrayal of Chandler Bing in the show. “Sorry, everybody else, but just truly.”
But she was sure to give the rest of her costars their props, adding, “Everyone is making me laugh my ass off.”
And watching the show has become a new pastime for the Feel Good actress. After all, she shared how she almost never stopped to watch an episode while filming the show.
