SWANZEY, N.H. — Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Dirty Heads and The Disco Biscuits will headline the fifth annual Northlands Music & Arts Festival, set for June 18–21 at the picturesque Cheshire Fairgrounds.
The full lineup for the 2026 edition was recently revealed, rounding out the weekend with the official Campground Stage lineup, an integral part of the Northlands experience that keeps the music and community energy flowing well into the night.
“At a moment when the modern festival landscape is increasingly dominated by large corporate productions, Northlands has fiercely carved out a different path,” stated a press release announcing the full lineup. “The independently produced gathering has emerged as a resilient boutique standout, proof that thoughtfully curated music, passionate fans, and a community-first ethos can still thrive in an industry that has seen many mid-sized festivals disappear.”
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, a Grateful Dead cover band known as JRAD to their devoted fans, will headline Saturday’s lineup with two sets of their high-energy, improvisational rock that blends the Dead’s psychedelic essence with their own modern, spontaneous style. Dirty Heads, a reggae rock band from California, is the headliner on Friday night, while Disco Biscuits, a Philadelphia-based electronica jam band, will cap the festival with two sets on Sunday night.
The weekend also features standout sets from Little Stranger, Lotus, Dogs In A Pile, Andy Frasco & The U.N., The Slip, Yonder Mountain String Band, Circles Around The Sun, Ghost‑Note, Jennifer Hartswick Band, Dizgo, Super Sonic Shorties, Moontricks, Annie In The Water, Sqwerv, Caylin Costello Band, Hayley Jane Band, Mihali, and more, with powerhouse vocalist Kanika Moore returning as Artist‑at‑Large throughout the weekend.
Known as the beating heart of the festival after dark, the Campground Stage showcases an eclectic mix of rising artists, jam‑scene favorites, and late‑night collaborations that have become a hallmark of the Northlands experience.
The newly announced Campground Stage lineup includes: local jam-grass favorites Jatoba, Consider the Source, Creamery Station, Dr. Fameus, Big Blitz, Canopy, Johnny Mullenax, Solar Circuit, Fungkshui, Leon Trout, The Rollin’ Rust, Space Bacon, Natalie Brooke, DJ Brownie, DJ Greenie, Space Carnival, and Kale.
Set against the rolling hills of New Hampshire, Northlands has rapidly built a national reputation for its thoughtfully curated lineup, welcoming boutique atmosphere, and seamless festival experience. Fans can explore vibrant art installations, a curated vendor village featuring local artisans, distinctive food and beverage offerings, daytime wellness programming, and intimate stage layouts that make it easy to catch every moment of the music.
