The next stop in Travis Kelce’s post-football expansion is fashion. Tommy Hilfiger announced that the Kansas City Chiefs star has signed on as both a global ambassador and creative collaborator, a move that will place Kelce at the center of the brand’s Fall 2026 campaign and an upcoming capsule collection.

According to WWD, the partnership goes beyond a standard endorsement deal. Kelce will appear in a campaign launching later this year that follows him through an imagined version of New York, while also working directly with Tommy Hilfiger’s design team on a limited Spring 2027 collection.

According to the company, the line will reinterpret classic Hilfiger pieces through Kelce’s personal style, with a focus on sportswear, tailoring, and the bold use of color that has become part of his tunnel-walk identity.

“Travis Kelce is one of the magnetic figures in sport and culture today,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “He is at the forefront of a new generation of athletes expressing themselves through style.”

For Kelce, the collaboration is rooted in a brand relationship that began long before he became one of the NFL’s most recognizable players.

“Ever since 10th grade, when I used to ask my mom to buy Sailing Gear jackets, I’ve been drawn towards the brand’s confident style and red, white and blue DNA,” Kelce said. “Getting to work with Tommy and put my own twist on timeless pieces… is a dream come true.”

The connection makes sense given Tommy Hilfiger’s history in hip-hop and sports culture. During the 1990s, the brand became a staple in rap fashion after artists like Grand Puba, Snoop Dogg, and Raekwon embraced its oversized rugby shirts, logo-heavy jackets, and signature red, white, and blue palette.

Snoop’s 1994 appearance on Saturday Night Live in a Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt famously caused the item to sell out in New York the next day.

Unlike many labels at the time, Tommy Hilfiger leaned into that momentum. The company brought rappers into its campaigns and runway shows, later working with figures including Aaliyah and, more recently, ambassadors such as Lewis Hamilton and Rafael Nadal.

Kelce arrives at a moment when his own style profile is growing well beyond the NFL. Over the last year, he has turned his pregame arrivals into fashion events, showing up in looks from Tom Ford, Thom Browne, KidSuper, and Louis Vuitton. He also recently launched a collection with American Eagle through his Tru Kolors label.

Hilfiger said Kelce’s personal taste is already shaping the new collection. “He loves color and is not afraid to wear it,” the designer said. “He wears preppy with a twist.”
