FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne venue long known as Piere’s Entertainment Center is now operating under a different name.
The northeast side venue, which consists of a bar, club and stages for concerts and nighttime events, is now called Century Music Hall. The signage outside the St. Joe Road building was quietly switched recently to reflect the rebrand.
While the website takes visitors to Century Music Hall, its schedule of events still lists the location as Piere’s. Its Facebook page appears to begin referencing the new name as of March 27.
WANE 15 has reached out to the venue for comment and has yet to hear back.
There have been multiple criminal investigations based at the venue, including a fatal stabbing and shootings in the parking lot in the past year alone.
