Ella Langley just previewed three new songs from her Dandelion album, which arrives on Friday (April 10).
Ella Langley Shares Three New Songs from Dandelion Album
The moment came when the “Choosin’ Texas” singer stopped by the This Past Weekend podcast with Theo Von. Instead of giving fans a tease of a few songs on social media, she instead let Von pick a few tracks for them to play.

Ella Langley Teases “Last Call for Us” [1:25:20]
Langley told Von that the song is one of the less fun ones on the album as it is a little more mellow and somber in nature. It’s also the song that was teased at the end of the recently released “Choosin’ Texas” music video.
“It’s last call for us / The lights are coming on / I don’t wanna leave / But it’s almost 3 / And I think we both know / That it’s last call for us / It’s a sad, sad tune / That after these drinks you’ll let go of me and I’ll let go of you,” she sings on the track.
The song paints the picture of the main character meeting someone at the bar and enjoying an evening with them until closing time. As the lights come on, the two realize that this romance isn’t going anywhere and they’ll have to leave this moment of bliss behind as they go their separate ways.
Ella Langley Teases “Bottom of Your Boots” [1:31:43]
Langley shared that the title “Bottom of Your Boots” came from her father during one of her moments of feeling inadequate. While pouring out her feelings to him, he shared with her that no matter what he’ll love her “from the bottom of my boots to the top of my hat.”
“If you’re gonna love me, lay it on the table / Tell me how you really feel, give it a label / If you’re gonna hold me, don’t just hold me all night / Better hold me like you wanna hold me for the rest of your life / If you’re gonna love me better love me to the moon and back / From the bottom of your boots to the top of your hat,” she sings in the chorus.
Ella Langley Teases “Broken” [1:35:20]
It was Langley’s idea to share one more song and she picked the one she wanted to play.
“Don’t ask if I’m doing alright, can we skip all the talking baby? / And don’t try to find the right thing to say cause the words ain’t working on me lately / Tears just fall on a hardwood floor / Gonna wonder why, gonna wonder what for / Don’t ask if I’m doing alright, can we skip all the talking, baby? Baby, just let me, just let me, just let me be broken / Just let me, just let me, just let me be broken,” she sings in the first verse and chorus.
The song speaks to heartbreak that needs to be felt. Rather than trying to make everything alright, the narrator wants to be left to feel the inevitable.
