Classic musicals with area performers, the circus and several outdoor events will be part of weekend offerings.

Friday, April 10

“Guys and Dolls Sr.”

When: 7:30 p.m.

Location: John Legend Theater, 700 S. Limestone St.

Description: Springfield Civic Theatre will present a cast of actors age 55-older in the classic musical “Guys and Dolls Sr.” that will feature several well-known songs. Admission is $15 plus fees.

“Little Women”

When: 8 p.m.

Location: Clark State Performing Arts Center Turner Studio Theatre, 300 S. Fountain Ave.

Description: The Clark State Theatre Arts Program’s production of “Little Women” will include several of the school’s graduates and current students performing the classic story and behind the scenes. Tickets cost $18 general admission and $15 for students and seniors.

Saturday, April 11

Mathews Family Farm Market Grand Opening

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Location: 950 W. Leffel Lane

Description: Highlights will include 4-H presentations, giveaways, Coffee Expressions and Graham Slam offering food and more.

Plants and Pints

When: noon

Location: Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co., 10 W. Columbia St.

Description: The Master Gardener Volunteers of Clark County will host the annual Plants and Pints fundraising event with a variety of plants, gardening tools and supplies, and science‑based gardening guidance. Proceeds will support the Snyder Park Gardens & Arboretum.

When: 2 p.m.

The LA Band in concert

When: 7 p.m.

Description: The LA Band will play live on the outdoor stage of the beer garden. Admission is free.

Out of Eden Eagles Tribute

When: 7 p.m.

Location: State Theater, 19 S. Fountain Ave.

Description: Eagles tribute band Out of Eden from northeast Ohio will play the legendary group’s best-loved songs. Tickets cost $30 for general admission table seats, $25 for pit seats and limited bar seating. Doors open at 6 p.m.

b2wins concert

When: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Gloria Theatre, 216 S. Main St., Urbana

Description: Brother act b2wins will use violins to present a blend of pop, rock, hip‑hop, funk and classical in their own versions of recognizable hits in a high-energy concert. Tickets cost $33.90, $44.25 and $54.60.

Heart of Ohio Cruise-in

When: noon to 4 p.m.

Location: Heart of Ohio Antique Mall, 4785 E. National Rd.

Description: The cruise-in will have a variety of vehicles and will go on weather-permitting.

Come Find Art

When: 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Location: Springfield Museum of Art, 107 Cliff Park Rd.

Description: The monthly Come Find Art event will include an open studio for making art, a guest artist and access to all the galleries and exhibits. Admission is free.

The Great Pages Circus

When: 1 and 4 p.m.

Location: Clark County Fairgrounds, 4401 S. Charleston Pike

Description: The Great Pages Circus will have two shows and include aerial acts, clowns, jugglers, ponies, horses, camels and motorcycle stunts. Adult tickets cost $20 each and with admission include two free children’s admissions for ages 12-under. Advance tickets are available at pagescircus.com/ or cash only at the show.

Sanctuary Series – Springfield Youth Choir

When: 3 p.m.

Location: High Street United Church, 230 E. High St.

Description: The Springfield Youth Choir will give an hour-long concert for the monthly Sanctuary Series. Admission is free, but a free-will offering to support the series will be done during intermission. An informal meet-and-greet with the performers and refreshments will follow the concert.
