Age is just a number when it comes to going au naturel!

While the media frequently presents images of younger, unclothed celebs, there’s a league of older stars challenging outdated societal norms by flaunting their bodies in the buff.

In a revealing Instagram post in 2022, former supermodel Paulina Porizkova discussed society’s objectification of women while reclaiming her sexuality at an older age.

“In a patriarchal society, women have always been seen as objects of desire or nurture… This is why youth and beauty are such a strong currency,” she captioned. “I’ve come to wonder if objectification falls mainly into the realm of youth. When I was a young model exposing my body, it was because someone else approved of it.”

She continued, “Now when I expose my body, it [is] with my full knowledge and consent. Hence, celebration.”

From Porizkova’s cheeky mirror selfie to here are some celebs over 50 who’ve struck a pose naked.

Paulina Porizkova

Porizkova has an archive of Instagram photos that prove angles are everything. Exhibit A: this bathroom butt selfie (a.k.a. a “belfie”) she snapped during a trip to Rome in 2021.

“My hotel Eden in Rome, has, besides a beautiful room I’m staying in, this pretty happening bathroom,” the model captioned the risqué photo. “After work and a leisurely bath, I was bored, which led to this celebration of narcissism, the naked selfie.”

“I’m also probably going to be the girl on the beach with no top on when I’m 60,” Klum told PEOPLE in 2016. “Maybe my stomach and my boobs are not going to be the same way they are now. But it’s just who I am. I am more of a free person. I’m more nudist that way. I’m fearless. I don’t think that will change. I’m gonna be that 60-year-old woman laying on the beach with just my bottoms on.”

For what it’s worth, she’s also happy to pose pantsless, as she did with a strategic slice of pie in 2021.

Elizabeth Hurley is another star who’s always happy to celebrate with a stripped-down pic, like this one she posted in honor of her 60th birthday in 2025.

The supermodel posed nude in one photo, wearing only a necklace and black belt while a camera tripod was strategically placed to cover her nether regions. In the second pic, Seymour donned a feathery green coat with black dotted tights while striking a dramatic pose.

In March 2020, Madonna revealed on Instagram that she had an onstage injury when “a chair was literally pulled out from underneath me by mistake.”

A few months later, the “Vogue” singer shared a now-deleted mirror selfie, posing topless while leaning on a clutch. Clad only in black underwear, a sparkling hat and some jewelry, she captioned the photo with a cheeky message: “Everyone has a Crutch.”

Shortly after her 60th birthday in July 2023, Lisa Rinna marked the occasion with a full-frontal mirror selfie, with brown emojis covering her nipples and vagina.

“Moira Rose says you should take as many naked pics of yourself while you still can and celebrate it,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wrote on her Instagram Stories, nodding to the Schitt’s Creek character played by Catherine O’Hara. “OK, Moira.”

Rinna was alluding to a scene from the Schitt’s Creek season 2 episode, “Moira’s Nudes,” when Moira tells Stevie Budd (Emily Hampshire): “Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now. You may currently think, ‘Oh, I’m too spooky.’ Or, ‘Nobody wants to see these tiny boobies.’ But, believe me, one day you will look at those photos with much kinder eyes and say, ‘Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!’ “

In 2019, the late Suzanne Somers famously posed topless in a sultry Instagram photo shot by her husband, Alan Hamel.

“We were walking on the hillside road [on her property], and I think it was like June. It was hot and dry,” she explained in 2020. “I said, ‘Oh my god, the foliage here is the same color as my hair.’ Because, by that time, all the weeds and bushes had turned yellow.”

“So I got down and said, ‘Take a picture of me. The weeds will look like my hair,’ ” Somers said. “I took my top down because I was with my husband, and he took that great picture.”
