Now, it looks like Jenna is opting for a moment on the big screen—she will make a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is out in theaters on May 1, 2026. Folks learned the news via Craig Melvin, who revealed it during an April 8 taping of Today.
“By the way, you know how that movie is going to be good? You know how I can tell?” Craig asked Carson Daly, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker about the film in a clip posted on Decider’s Instagram. “JBH is in it.”
Jenna was clearly shocked by Craig sharing the news, as evidenced by her gobsmacked reaction on live television. But as Craig explained, he thought that everyone knew she was in the movie.
“I don’t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb,” Jenna responded in total shock.
“I thought it was common knowledge!” Craig responded. “Cut it out for the other feeds! Sorry about that, JBH.”
Fans couldn’t help but crack up over Craig being the one to deliver the announcement.
“The cut to Jenna has me weak 💀💀💀💀,” one person jested in the comments. “Craig 😂 hahahaa so funny!” another cracked up. “That is funny 😆,” a different viewer agreed.
While we don’t know how and when Jenna will pop up during The Devil Wears Prada 2, it’s important to note she’s made a cameo in another movie in the past. Back in 2024, she appeared in the Hallmark film Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, where she portrayed herself as a reporter.
