Amanda Holden’s ‘jaw-dropping’ BBC show has future confirmedBBC
Amanda Holden’s The Celebrity Inner Circle has been renewed for a second season. The BBC quiz show sees a contestant pair up with a celebrity, with the aim of making it all the way to the final round.
But the big twist comes at the end as the two remaining players must chose whether to split the prize money and walk away as equals or try and take it all for themselves, leaving their partner empty handed.
There’s no word yet on the celebrities for season two but season one saw Taskmaster stars Lou Sanders and Maisie Adam in the line-up, along with EastEnders favourites Tamzin Outhwaite and Danielle Harold and Strictly Come Dancing’s Zara McDermott.

Speaking about the renewal, Holden said: “It’s a joy that The Celebrity Inner Circle returns to BBC primetime for a second series of backstabbing, betrayal and a sprinkle of team play!
“This is not just a quiz show, it’s a real mind game. My jaw was on the floor throughout the first series at the level of deception!”
The presenter added: “It’s truly wonderful that I’m left to improvise with my script on this show and I guarantee you a mini skirt, high heels and a lash on top of a brilliant show of trust – with no obligation to tell the truth!
“Only the viewer at home really knows what’s truly going on, so shouting at the telly throughout Series 2 for all the right reasons is guaranteed!”

David Marshall, Creative Director at Tern, added: “We’re thrilled to be back with a second series of The Celebrity Inner Circle. It’s a game of trust and when it counts, the art of the perfectly timed shafting.
“Throw in Amanda Holden and her mischievous sparkle along with some famous faces and you have a Saturday night worth staying in for. We’re proud to be flying the flag for Scotland on a major BBC entertainment show once again!”
