Sachin Tendulkar And Tabu Get Emotional, Console Asha Bhosle’s Granddaughter At Residence

The nation has come to a standstill ever since Asha Bhosle passed away. The legendary singer lent her voice to some of the most memorable and iconic songs that didn’t care about the bounds of time or generations that would come after. Her songs are respected and liked even by fresh ears.

Her last rites and funeral are seeing the best of the best from Bollywood stepping out to pay their respects. From Sachin Tendulkar to Tabu, the environment was nothing but emotional.

Sachin Tendulkar Broke Down

Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12, at the age of 92 and it is something no one was prepared for. Her contribution to the Indian music industry is unlike any, making the loss even worse than it already is. It doesn’t just hurt those who knew her personally, but also those who admired and respected her from afar, like the fans.

To pay their respects, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar went to visit her residence, and they ended up breaking down in the process. They both could be seen holding back their tears, at least, they tried to, but they couldn’t stop them.

He even penned a heartfelt note on his social media to celebrate her life and her impact on people.

“A deeply sad day for India, and for music lovers across the world. For us, Asha Tai was family. Today, words feel too small for the loss we feel. One moment the heart falls silent, and the next, it drifts through the countless melodies she gifted all of us. It feels as though time itself has paused.”

He continued, “Yet through her eternal songs, she will remain timeless forever. Thank you, Tai, for filling our lives with warmth, grace, and unforgettable music. We will miss you beyond words, Asha Tai.”

Tabu Consoles Asha Bhosle’s Granddaughter

Tabu also made an appearance at Asha Bhosle’s residence at Grande, Lower Parel. She was also seen getting emotional while she was paying tribute to the late singer. She also broke down, tears unable to stop as she remembered Bhosle.

She was also seen consoling Zanai Bhosle, the granddaughter of the legendary singer. She was hugging Zanai and consoling her as much as she could. The singer left a mark on many people and as she was wrapped in a tricolour, many others came to see her. AR Rahman, Asha Parekh, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and others were also present. Her funeral is set to take place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
