Calgary police are responding to reports of someone with a weapon at Mount Royal University.
Officers responded to the university shortly around 2:45 p.m. on Monday after getting reports of someone armed on campus.
Police say they are looking for a suspect described as a white male in their mid 20s, wearing a black long sleeve jacket with a logo on the back, dark jeans, a beige toque, sunglasses and black shoes.
Anyone on campus and residents living near the university have been advised to shelter in place as a precaution. People are being advised to stay away from the area while the situation is active.
No injuries have been reported.
