Fans of headlocks, body slams and larger-than-life personalities can see their heroes looming even larger than usual when WrestleMania — professional wrestling’s most extravagant annual event — comes to the Malco Paradiso in Memphis this weekend.
Live via satellite from Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, the 42nd annual WrestleMania can be viewed at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18, and 5 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the Paradiso. Tickets are $17 each.
A production of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), each night’s show is scheduled to last four hours. Among the star grapplers scheduled to compete are CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Wrestler-turned-actor John Cena is the host.
WrestleMania also can be watched at home via ESPN’s streaming service (which also is part of the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN bundle).
