Ticketmaster has launched an app inside ChatGPT, allowing fans to search for events and explore ticket options directly through a conversation with OpenAI’s chatbot.
The integration sits inside ChatGPT‘s Apps Directory, where users can connect the Ticketmaster app and activating it by starting prompts with @Ticketmaster. From there, fans can ask about local concerts, upcoming games or events, and receive interactive listings based on their questions. When they’re ready to buy, they’re redirected to Ticketmaster’s marketplace to complete the transaction.
The move makes the Live Nation-owned ticketing marketplace the latest to integrate with ChatGPT after SeatGeek, which launched its own ChatGPT integration in late March.
For Ticketmaster, the app enables discovery and paid marketing, according to its announcement on April 9. Fans who connect the app on ChatGPT can explore seating options and compare prices in real time. OpenAI is also testing sponsored ad placements in ChatGPT, and Ticketmaster is among the participants.

Fans can type prompts like “What concerts are near me?” or “What events are happening this weekend?” and ChatGPT will suggest relevant ads, Ticketmaster said.
Ticketmaster said: “Fan behavior is evolving. Discovery is no longer limited to search engines or social platforms, as more fans turn to AI platforms like ChatGPT to find events, compare options, and make decisions in real time.”

ChatGPT, which OpenAI says has 900 million weekly active users, launched its apps ecosystem in October 2025 with partners including Spotify, Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Expedia, Figma and Zillow. Last month, ChatGPT integrated with Apple’s music recognition tool Shazam to allow users to ‘Shazam’ songs directly on ChatGPT.
For Ticketmaster, the integration marks its latest after integrating with Shazam in July 2024. Through that partnership, artists are able to link their live events directly in the Shazam app, so that they appear whenever a user Shazams one of the artist’s tracks.
In 2022, Ticketmaster integrated with Snapchat, allowing users to use the Snap Map Layer to find all Ticketmaster events nearby. They can tap and invite friends through stickers that plug into the Snapchat Camera, or buy tickets from within Snap.
Ticketmaster has also integrated with Spotify for concert listings.
Elsewhere at Ticketmaster, the antitrust case against the company and its parent, Live Nation Entertainment, has reached closing arguments at Federal District Court in Manhattan last week. The jury finished its first day of deliberations on Friday (April 10) without reaching a verdict.
The jury requested that the judge allow it to review specific testimony from the five-week trial, and later asked to review additional portions, including testimony from music industry experts, according to the Associated Press. Deliberations resumed Monday (April 13).
