Matt Damon Reveals Female Stunt Double In ‘The Odyssey’

Forget ‘The Odyssey,’ moviegoers can’t stop talking about the terrifying ‘Other Mommy’ trailer

Grammy-winning country star Maren Morris launched her most direct and expletive-filled broadside yet against President Donald Trump and his supporters in a video, declaring she has “no forgiveness” for voters who backed him, igniting a firestorm across social media.

In the video, Morris said, “I don’t have forgiveness for the triple Trumpers or any of the Trumpers. You did vote for this,” addressing those who supported the president across all three of his campaigns, as well as those who backed him once.

Morris unloads on Trump

Morris did not hold back in describing the president. She called Trump “a dementia-ridden, diaper-clad, cornball, ex-TV host,” and urged followers to “look at his stats.” The remark about his television past was widely seen as a jab at his time hosting The Celebrity Apprentice.

She added, “You voted for this and you got bamboozled. And I get it, like, Fox News is a propaganda machine of just, like, Cocomelon brain rot for boomers.” She concluded, “This is literally the result of employing and voting for losers.” Morris also took aim at Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, mocking what she called his “alcoholic sideburns,” before laughing as the video ended.

Questions about Trump’s will and legacy

In a second TikTok, Morris questioned whether Trump has a will and who might inherit his fortune.

“When we all leave this earth, we don’t take things when we go. We don’t take the money or anything, really. It’s just you,” she said. “So, unless they figure out how to clone him, which I know billionaires are obsessed with that, is he leaving his wealth to anyone? My guess is no.” The video was reposted to Instagram and later deleted, adding to the viral spread of her remarks and fueling backlash from conservative commentators and MAGA supporters.

Morris acknowledges the cost

The latest comments follow a broader public reckoning with her political identity. In a January 2026 TikTok, Morris admitted to losing fans over her views, saying, “I’ve lost a lot of fans over the years because of my viewpoints and I think that’s fair. If you don’t agree with me and you can’t enjoy my music because of my viewpoints, you are absolutely allowed to do that.”

She added, “I do feel like I’ve sacrificed a lot of my mental health, my financial standing, my family, just because I’m so deeply concerned and uncomfortable with the weird status quo of country music.”

She also warned aspiring artists, “I think for these upcomers in music or country music, just know it is a sacrifice to stick to your guns and you will lose people along the way. Whether it’s fans or friends or family members, you will lose people because you are breaking a lot of norms and cycles.”

Morris addressed those who might leave her fan base as well. “If you don’t agree with me … you can’t enjoy my music because of my viewpoints? You’re absolutely allowed to do that,” she said.

Morris’ standing

Despite personal and professional costs she has acknowledged, Morris has shown no sign of backing down.

She said on TikTok, “It’s a weird time right now. I’m very broken-hearted. I love my country, but it is so broken. And I wish I could snap my fingers and make it better.”

She added, “I will always write songs. Nobody — nobody — is going to stop me from making music, not now or when I’m 90.”

Whether Trump responds or not, Morris has made clear she will continue speaking out. In a genre long shaped by conservative voices, her stance remains striking and divisive.
