They’re back with their sweltering take on post metal and doom, weaving patterns of distortion that bring hurt and comfort. A major change is bringing a new singer Marina into the fold who provides an austere and chilling performance that massively expands Burial Clouds‘ sonic world. Everyone basking in the glow of the latest Neurosis needs to get on this fast.

Dobbin recommends: Prepping for what is surely their third LP, Million Moons bless us with an amazing single. “Black Sun Rising” throws back to the band’s debut LP with its grandiose post rock sound and driving pianos. It has a clear mission: find new heights, again and again. Million Moons conquer gentle drone-soaked floodplains in the intro and rise to lofty heights via drum fills and crushing strings.

Joe recommends: Glasgow upstarts SILKSPINE are becoming increasingly impressive as each single drops, with vicious track “Bound By Misery” being their latest entry. Gnarly barked vocals command their vengeful and spiteful sound, all closed out by a breakdown that hits like a spin kick to the face.

ZOMBIESHARK! – CAMAEL COME BACK WRONG (Single)

Dobbin recommends: Defining frenetic and irreverent in one swoop, “CAMAEL COME BACK WRONG” is the second single in ZOMBIESHARK!‘s 2026 comeback. Breakneck speeds are locked in immediately as glitching breakdowns arrive within the first minute, culminating in melodic fury that will have us screaming “if it’s OK with you, it’s OK with me” into cyberspace. ZOMBIESHARK! continues to be an antidote for the stagnating world of modern metalcore.
