For some people, fashion rules just don’t seem to apply. They can make Bermuda shorts look dressy and a Twilight hat seem chic. They can elevate a fit simply with a pair of flip-flops or make a witch’s hat seem like an everyday staple. One such person is Jennifer Lawrence, who performed her styling alchemy once again this past Thursday, with her latest on-duty mom look.
As she pushed her baby son around in a stroller in New York City, the Oscar winner achieved the seemingly impossible when she successfully paired red and pink together for a bright springtime ensemble.
Up top, the Die My Love star chose a preppy red polo from one of her favorite brands, the Row, which she effortlessly paired with pale pink pants from Siedrés. The festive bottoms came in a wide silhouette and featured silver sequined embellishments that outlined the hems and formed floral shapes across the legs.
To really lean in to her strawberry lemonade color scheme, Lawrence added another bright hue with her yellow Vincit suede loafers, also from the Row. Then, she kept things playful with a seashell pendant necklace from Tory Burch.
Finally, she rounded things out with black Thistles sunglasses, as well as a navy-blue baseball cap from Citymeals on Wheels. While Lawrence often pops on a hat to complete her fits, she’s worn this specific cap a couple of times recently (and you can typically only get it if you volunteer with the organization—and April is National Volunteer Month, after all).
Even when she’s taking a casual stroll, J.Law is defying fashion boundaries and promoting a good cause.
