The WWE’s biggest event of the year is officially here.
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania, often dubbed “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” is slated to take place this weekend. And while the professional-wrestling company has historically rotated the event among different major cities, it will be taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the second year.
Here’s what you need to know about this year’s event, and how to watch it:
Who is wrestling for Wrestlemania 42?
It will feature high-profile matchups including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk versus Roman Reigns. And wrestler-turned actor John Cena will hosting the event. Stephanie Vaquer also faces Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.

When is WrestleMania 42?
WrestleMania, which became a two-day event in 2020, will take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Each night will begin with a three-hour pre-show at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the event at 6 p.m. ET. This is an hour earlier than it has started in previous years.

WrestleMania will stream live on the ESPN App through an ESPN Unlimited subscription. Plans start at $29.99 per month.
