Those teams competing in the first-ever event were Georgia-Pacific, Brewton Police Department, Frontline Automotive and Neighborhood Friends.
After judges, chosen at random from the crowd, completed their tasting, a clear winner was found in the team from Frontline Automotive.
Judges for the tasting competition were Stacey Till, Sherry Weaver and Tim Wood.
The winning team earned bragging rights and a nice plaque to show for their efforts in the inaugural competition.
The event drew hundreds who filled the park with chairs, tents and blankets for the afternoon.
