Gemma said she was “absolutely disgusted” with their behaviour and it was an ’embarrassment’
Gemma Collins has said she is ‘disgusted’ with the behaviour of two of her campmates at the I’m A Celeb final. Her post comes after Adam Thomas defeated the other finalists to be crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity All Stars in South Africa last night (April 24).
Earlier in the live show there had been chaos as he came face to face with David Haye and Jimmy Bullard and the verbal clash led to two other campmates – Gemma Collins and Sinitta – storming off stage.
Just minutes before Adam was crowned champ there were awkward scenes in the studio as Jimmy Bullard said Adam was “aggressive, abusive and intimidating” when Jimmy quit and Adam feared his own jungle adventure was also over. However, the other campmates let him stay in the camp.
Adam reflected on it and said he had apologised to Jimmy several times. He said: “Listen I take full responsibility for my actions. Yes emotions were definitely running high in that moment. But, you know, I have got nothing but love for Jimmy.”
Given the drama, it’s hardly surprising that Waterloo Road star, Adam, appeared subdued following his win as it came after a heated exchange. In what should have been a happy moment, Adam’s moment was overshadowed by the ongoing feuds.
Gemma Collins, who was very close with Adam during her stint in the jungle, spoke out on the final from her perspective. Gemma posted on Instagram: “THE WINNER! What a show up !!! Absolutely disgusted with Jimmy and David’s behaviour the biggest show up in tv history !!! What an EMBARRASSMENT!
“To all the took part in the show it was a discredit to the production crew cast Ant and Dec biggest disrespect ever !!! Last night was meant to be a celebration instead it was very upsetting !! X”
