A Paramount film shooting in South Jersey is casting background actors for military and “post-apocalyptic” roles, according to a casting notice.
Production is seeking adults for non-speaking roles, including military-style characters as well as refugees and post-apocalyptic civilians, for a movie called “Little Falls” filming in Camden, Roman Candle Casting said.
Some roles may require a clean-shaven look or slicked-back hairstyles to fit a military appearance, while others will feature more rugged, distressed looks, according to the notice.
Filming will take place in and around Camden, with shoot dates scheduled for May 26, May 27, May 29, and May 30, officials said.
Actors must be available for full-day shoots, which could begin early in the morning and run late into the night, casting officials said.
The roles are open to both SAG-AFTRA members and non-union performers, with pay set at $224 for eight hours for union actors and $187 for 10 hours for non-union actors, according to the notice.
Applicants selected for roles will be contacted directly by production to confirm shoot dates and assignments, officials said.
