Kylie Jenner’s Housekeeper Sues for Discrimination, Says She Was Belittled

Kylie Jenner has been sued by a former housekeeper who claims that the reality television star and beauty entrepreneur discriminated against them.

As reported by TMZ, the Kylie Cosmetics founder returned from Coachella this month and was met by a lawsuit filed last week by her former housekeeper, Angelica Vasquez. The woman began working for Jenner on September 10, 2024, at the socialite’s Beverly Hills residence before being transferred to her Hidden Hills estate the following week, joining head housekeeper Patsy and Elsi, whom Vasquez reported to.

Vasquez claims that while being “subjected to severe and pervasive harassment” she was “treated with hostility and exclusion” by the fellow housekeepers. Among notable allegations was that Vasquez, who is Salvadorian and Catholic, was “belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers” because of her race, heritage and religion.

The woman claims that the group told her that “Catholics are horrible people” in addition to being ridiculed and bullied about her immigration status. Vasquez also alleges that she was assigned the worst duties in the household and faced being shouted at and often excluded. On one occasion, an employee allegedly threw hangers at Vasquez, who apparently expressed workplace dissatisfaction.

By 2025, the woman formerly resigned from the position, noting the development of anxiety and “symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder” after her complaints were ignored.

Vasquez is suing for unpaid wages and emotional distress among other damages and seeks punitive relief. While the claims aren’t directed towards The Kardashians star, those familiar with her household allege that Vasquez had attendance problems and other workplace issues.
