Royal Jordanian has been a long-established carrier in Chicago, connecting members of the area’s huge Middle Eastern diaspora with their native countries through Amman. Having heard many varying stories about RJ, I was curious on what it was actually like when I finally got the chance to fly the airline to Saudi Arabia this year. With it being Ramadan and also traveling to the Middle East during a major conflict, this surely was unlike any journey I had ever experienced before.
