Ever since announcing the news of her pregnancy, Aubrey Plaza has been on a maternity style streak. From her handful of little dresses (a floral Stella McCartney babydoll here, a plunging LBD there) to her practical footwear choices (New Balance sneakers all the way), she’s dressed up her bump for premieres and errands alike. But for her latest outing, she brought along an extra-special addition: her partner, actor and fellow Broadway star Christopher Abbott.
Taking a stroll in New York City, the couple kept things casual. For Plaza, this meant a loose white T-shirt with a boxy cut, wide crewneck, and cropped hem rolled up (which revealed a hint of her bump). She wore the simple, breezy piece with light-gray trousers, secured with an elastic waistband with a tie.
The baggy bottoms hit her ankles, and for shoes, she looked to her collection of comfortable footwear and pulled out a pair of black Birkenstocks. The particular sandals had two chunky buckles, which added a bit of shine to the look.
Plaza grabbed a capacious black woven shoulder bag, some rounded sunglasses, and her dog’s leash, and stepped out.
Next to her, Abbott matched his partner with a plain T-shirt of his own—a yellow piece—and dark gray trousers with oversize patch pockets. He accessorized with a pair of sunglasses, a couple of delicate necklaces, and a black belt. He carried a red jacket in case it got chilly, and took the walk in suede boots.
Plaza confirmed earlier this month that she is expecting her first child, marking a new milestone for herself and Abbott.
