Jesse Watters is opening up about an uncomfortable moment with Queen Camilla that quickly went off the rails.
In a clip shared by Daily Beast, during a recent episode of The Five, the Fox News host recalled being introduced to Camilla, 78, and King Charles III ahead of their formal White House state dinner on Wednesday, April 29 — but things took a turn after his ill-timed joke.

After chatting with the queen about a visit to the White House beehives, Watters said he tried to keep the conversation going. “I said, ‘Well, you know, it was Washington D.C., you know, if the bees don’t get you, the guns will,’” he recalled.
The comment didn’t land. And Watters said he watched a royal handler lead the Queen away: “I don’t know what I was saying.”
Another humbling moment for Watters? Realizing Charles, 77, had absolutely no clue who he was while doing a walkthrough and introduction.

“I said, ‘I’m on Fox and I have two shows,’” Watters shared. “And he goes, ‘Well, they must really love you here.’”
Embarrassing flub aside, the royal visit marked a high-profile moment for U.S.-U.K. relations, with President Donald Trump hosting the couple for a formal dinner.
