After being crowned the champions of Battle Of The Bands, Amelia and Sequoia took the stage to kick off this year’s lineup of Movin’ On. Under the bright lights, the indie pop-rock group got the crowd energized and moving early with their high-energy performance.

Amelia and Sequoia is a collaboration between two bands, Amelia and the Bad Men and Sequoia. The band blended their sound this year, combining the musical talents of seven musicians: Amelia “Seven,” Aiden Bercik, Aiden Hood, Braeden Caputo, Jamie Paul, Akshay Krishnan, and Rayne Terrior.

The band started their performance at 4 p.m. with some light rain showers, but Mother Nature didn’t stop the group from putting on a show at the IM Fields.

They began their set playing a few new original songs, “Run Your Mouth,” “Time Travel, and “Feel It.” After performing their first song, the crowd started cheering, and the lead singer and guitarist, Aiden Hood, got the crowd even more amped up, asking, “Who’s ready for Zara Larsson tonight?”

As the rain kept coming down, Amelia and Sequoia kept performing. With the rain and cold temperatures, the band thanked the crowd for supporting them even in the rain. To keep the energy going, the band rocked out on their instruments and introduced each member.

Next up, Amelia, the lead singer, performed a couple of her own original songs that were released in the last couple of weeks, including “Blame Myself” and “Steel.”

To close out their set, the group performed one final song and told the crowd to check out their merchandise stand and say hello. Before heading off the stage and finishing a stellar performance, the band left the crowd saying, “We are Amelia and Sequoia, thank you so much.”
