Princess Charlotte will no doubt be excited today as her 11th birthday is just hours away. It is not known how she will spend her special day; however, it is believed she will celebrate it with her parents, Prince William and Princess Catherine, alongside her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
While George’s future job is written in the stars – to become a working royal one day and eventually be King, Charlotte’s future – like her little brother Louis’ – is less set in stone. But there is one thing for sure – she will be an absolutely crucial support for her older brother when he, in years to come, takes the throne.
Why? Well, she’s just spent the last almost 11 years showing us.
The young princess has also always seemed to be checking up on her brothers too, supporting George in ways that are subtle but important. Wimbledon appearances is just one example, when the princess is frequently seen smiling over at her older brother.
All these actions, and more, show me as a royal expert that Charlotte will be crucial in George’s life when his royal responsibilities grow.
A hard-working royal who, like Anne is for King Charles, will always be a strong pillar of support standing by her brother’s side.
Always there to help him out, to carry out duties, to joke with him and even comfort him.
All of this I can imagine happening, of course way into the future.
For now, Charlotte and George – along with Louis – are just young children, growing up, going to school, playing in the garden and being your typical siblings.
In years to come, when they are the senior members of the Royal Family, they will hold their childhood memories together dear as they carry out royal duties. Just like Charles and Anne, now in their seventies, do.
