Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni reached a settlement in the It Ends With Us lawsuit just weeks before the case was set to go to trial and surprising money details have been revealed.
While Blake did not sue for a significant amount of money, she stated in the lawsuit that the damage to her reputation could potentially cause her to lose up to $300 million.
Justin had filed a $400 million defamation countersuit against Blake, but that lawsuit was dismissed in June 2025.

Blake and Justin settled for no money exchanged
TMZ has revealed that nobody earned any money from the settlement. Sources told the outlet that “no money was exchanged between the parties … other than the lawyers getting paid, of course.”
Page Six reveals that the two legal teams combined made $60 million from the years-long battle between the two actors.
What did Blake and Justin have to say about the settlement?
Lawyers for both sides released a joint statement.
“The end product – the movie ‘It Ends With Us’ – is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind.
We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
Blake returns to the red carpet, hours after settlement
Hours after the settlement was announced, Blake was back on the red carpet for an appearance at the Met Gala.
For fashion’s biggest night, Blake wore an archival Versace piece from spring 2006.
