Singer Hayley Williams, the frontwoman for the rock band Paramore, will perform at Champions Square in October as part of her second solo tour of the year.
“The Hayley Williams Show” tour will make its New Orleans stop on Oct. 10. Williams announced the new tour on Thursday while still on her Bachelorette Party Tour.
Williams released her third solo album, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” to acclaim in 2025. Paramore’s most recent album was “This is Why” in 2023.
Williams, who was born in Meridian, Mississippi and formed Paramore in Franklin, Tennessee, rose to fame with the band in the mid-2000s, breaking out in 2007 with the album “Riot” and the multi-platinum single “Misery Business.” The band’s commercial success continued on albums like 2009’s “Brand New Eyes” and 2012’s self-titled album.
Williams has further experimented with alternative rock on her solo albums. She was nominated for five Grammys this year, including for Best Alternative Music Album.
Williams will be joined in New Orleans by rapper and singer Rico Nasty and alternative pop duo Magdalena Bay. The show is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Fans can submit their email on Williams’ website to access presale tickets. The presale will begin Tuesday, May 12, and general ticket sales will start Thursday, May 16.
