Sadie Robertson and her husband, Christian Huff, have three daughters: Honey, Haven and Kit
Their eldest, Honey, was born in May 2021
For their second daughter, Robertson said the name Haven “just dropped into my spirit”
Sadie Robertson‘s family has been growing in recent years.
Since the Duck Dynasty star and her husband, Christian Huff, married on Nov. 25, 2019, they have become parents to three daughters. The couple welcomed their first child, Honey, on May 11, 2021, followed by their second daughter, Haven, on May 22, 2023. Their third daughter, Kit, was born on Aug. 1, 2025.
The Dancing with the Stars alum spoke about her bond with Honey during a conversation with Bindi Irwin in September 2021. “It’s such a selfless love,” Robertson said. “They can’t do anything for you, but they’re everything to you … You just love who they are, and you’re already so proud of who they are.”
Over the years, she has shared photos of her family on social media, but in April 2026, she also opened up about a recent traumatic incident where she had to perform CPR on Kit after she choked on a snack and stopped breathing.
“After following protocol for a baby choking and doing CPR, Kit miraculously coughed and began to breathe, just as the paramedics arrived … [She] is now perfectly healthy, happy, and brightening everyone’s day!” Robertson wrote on Instagram.

Robertson and Huff welcomed their first child, Honey James Huff, on May 11, 2021.
Robertson’s pregnancy with Honey wasn’t always easy. Beyond “some pretty crazy morning sickness,” she also told PEOPLE in December 2020 that she had a bout of COVID-19.
“I did get COVID while I was pregnant and I was so sick from that, and so sick still in the morning sickness, so that was a challenge,” she shared. “It took a while to recover.”
The pair had names on deck even before learning the baby’s sex. “Christian and I, really before we even knew it was a girl or a boy, we decided on a girl and a boy name, and so as soon as we found out it was a girl, we knew her name,” the reality TV star explained.
A month before Honey was born, Robertson shared the meaning behind her unique name.
“Gracious words are like HONEY, sweetness to the soul and health to the body,” she wrote on Instagram in April 2021, quoting the Bible passage Proverbs 16:24. “I’ve always loved this verse. It’s made me have a love for the idea of all that honey is. It’s a sweet delicacy with a strong healing component.”
Though The New York Times best-selling author was “on cloud nine” after Honey was born, she later opened up in a June 2021 episode of her Whoa That’s Good podcast about the “really big healing process” that followed.

“All of a sudden I was just in a state of anxiety — I didn’t even realize it was creeping up as much as it was,” she said.
Honey had some trials of her own, too. At 4 months old, she struggled with RSV. “Watching your child sick is one of the most heart breaking things. Seeing her little struggle brings me to tears like I have never cried, but seeing her strength has given me smiles I have never smiled,” Robertson wrote.
After four days in the hospital, Honey was able to go home.
Since then, her mom has often shared photos of special moments — from her first steps to her family’s fishing excursions — on social media.
In many of those pictures, Honey is dressed like a princess — something Robertson says she’s “obsessed” with.
“Throwback to when we went to Disney this year,” she shared in December 2024 beside photos from the theme park. “There’s just something about seeing your daughter be the princess that she is. honey is obsessed with princesses, and it’s so fun to get to tell her that she IS a real life princess.”

Robertson’s second daughter, Haven Belle Huff, was born nearly exactly two years after her older sister, on May 22, 2023.
Six months earlier, in November 2022, Robertson revealed she had another baby on the way with an Instagram post.
“Another little miracle is in motion 🤗,” the couple captioned a snap, which featured the parents and Honey holding a sonogram.
In March 2023, Robertson revealed her baby’s name on her podcast, sharing that the moniker “just dropped into my spirit” while she was praying on a plane.

“I felt like the Lord dropped in my spirit the name Haven Belle, which was so beautiful because haven, which means safe place or a refuge and then belle means beautiful,” she said. “I thought it was just such a beautiful name because it means a beautiful, safe place.”
Robertson later announced Haven’s birth on Instagram, writing, “Haven has brought a touch of heaven 😍,” along with sweet photos of their newborn in the delivery room.
When Haven turned 6 months old, Robertson shared a sweet update on Instagram, writing that her baby girl had a strong bond with her older sister.
“She is the sweetest, happiest, smiliest, wide eyed little boo!” Robertson wrote. “She’s a mamas girl, but Honey may win the award for making her smile the most!”
Kit Carroway Huff

In February 2025, Robertson announced she and her husband were expecting their third child, and six months later, their youngest daughter, Kit Carroway Huff, was born on Aug. 1, 2025.
She shared the news of Kit’s birth on the same day her sex reveal party was aired during an episode of Duck Dynasty. “and while we are having a reveal party…Meet Kit Carroway Huff :),” Robertson wrote on Instagram.
Shortly after the birth of her third, Robertson told PEOPLE the story behind her name — and why she had to convince her husband of it.
“I threw it out there to my husband amongst five other great names, but I was really hoping he would love Kit,” she said. “And as soon as I said Kit, he was like, ‘No.’ He did not like it.”
Robertson ultimately told him to think about it because she loved its meaning (“pure or to bear Christ,” she said). When they went on a trip to England shortly after, the TV star said she felt confident that if they saw the name written down somewhere, it would be a sign that it was meant to be.
Sure enough, at their hotel, Robertson spotted a book with the name Kit on it sitting next to a copy of The Princess Bride.
“And on the book it had honeybees all over it, which is our thing with honey,” she said. “And Christian was like, ‘Oh, that’s just a coincidence.’ “
However, a few days later, hotel management approached Robertson and her family and said the owner wanted to gift them something, and showed them a bookshelf in the lobby which was full of four books with the name Kit on them.
As it turned out, the hotel owner’s name was Kit.
“She gave me baby gifts and they’re stuffed animals with the bow tie on them that said, ‘By Kit,’ because it was the owner’s brand named Kit,” Robertson said. “And after that, my husband could not deny that this child was supposed to be named Kit.”
