Ruby Stewart is expanding her family!
The singer and model, 38, is expecting her second child, due in August, with fiancé Jake Kalick, announcing her pregnancy news on Instagram. In the post, Ruby, the daughter of Rod Stewart, shared a picture of her 3-year-old son Otis, who had a confused look on his face as he held a sonogram photo.
“We couldn’t decide on what to get Otis for his third birthday so we decided a sibling should suffice… baby Kalick #2 coming in early August… 🫶🏻,” she captioned her post.
Ruby’s fiancé later shared his gratitude for the soon-to-be mom of two on Mother’s Day with a few posts on his Instagram Stories.
“Happy Mother’s Day!” he wrote over the first picture, showing Ruby and their toddler son sitting next to each other. He then posted a snap of the expectant mom cradling her growing bump, writing, “To this cool soon-to-be mom of two. We love you!”
In the comment section of her pregnancy announcement, Ruby’s family and friends showed their love for her growing family.
Renee Stewart, 33, kept it simple, commenting a red heart emoji, while Kimberly Stewart wrote, “Cutest ❤️.”
Alana K. Stewart, the 81-year-old singer-songwriter’s first wife, also shared her own congratulatory message to the expectant mom. “Congratulations! And I can’t believe Otis is already three!💝,” she wrote.

Back in February, the expectant mom and her toddler son joined the doting granddad for a bit of a family affair.
As the British singer was performing at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla., on Friday, Feb. 27, as part of his ongoing One Last Time Farewell Tour, Ruby and Otis joined him on stage. Rod’s daughter and her little one joined the rocker for a performance of “Forever Young,” with Ruby — a musician herself — performing a duet to the ‘80s track with her father.
Rod and Ruby sang for the Florida crowd as Otis, who sported a pair of noise-canceling headphones, clung to his mother’s leg in a clip of the family performance that Ruby shared in an Instagram Stories post on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Then, Ruby scooped up her son and, during an instrumental break in the song, danced with her father while holding the toddler in her arms. Rod could not seem to stop smiling as he looked on at the mother-son duo.
“Three generations of [Stewarts] one stage…,” Ruby captioned the post.
