Taylor Swift Wears a Valentino Minidress With a Glitzy Twist at New York Dinner

Taylor Swift is back in New York City after spending part of last week in London and Greece.
The actress was photographed grabbing dinner with her family last night.
She wore a little black dress with a silver sequin bow from Valentino, which put a playful twist on the wardrobe staple.

Taylor Swift spent the end of last week in London and part of the weekend in Greece at the wedding of Travis Kelce’s teammate George Karlaftis. On Monday, she was back in New York City, though, enjoying dinner with her family at The Eighty Six, a steakhouse in West Village.

Swift dressed up for the occasion, choosing a little black dress from Valentino with a silver sequin bow at the top. She accessorized with a black Aupen bag and silver Christian Louboutin heels.

Swift wore black looks in London as well. On Thursday, she was photographed in a Zimmermann floral corset midi dress. A day later, she went out in a black silk Staud top and Fleur du Mal slip skirt. Both pieces were trimmed with lace.

The singer has generally kept a low profile this spring. She made her first and only red carpet appearance of the year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March.

Last month, she gave a rare interview to The New York Times, speaking in depth about her songwriting. She spoke candidly about how criticism has affected her work. “Criticism has been a huge fuel for me,” she began. “It’s been a huge jumping-off point, like a creative writing prompt or something. There’s so many songs in my career that would not exist, like ‘Blank Space’ would not exist if I hadn’t had people being like, ‘Here’s a slideshow of all her boyfriends.’ And then ‘Anti-Hero’ is a song that I’m so proud of still. Like, that song doesn’t exist if I don’t get criticized for every aspect of my personality that people have a problem with or whatever.”
