Dancing With the Stars is returning for another season, making it 35 now for the dance competition. And today ABC revealed its third celebrity contestant: Internet personality and second baseman for the Savannah Bananas, Jackson Olson.
The athlete will join the previously announced Maura Higgins, star of The Traitors and Love Island, and Ciara Miller, star of “Summer House.
Olson is not just a standout second baseman for the Savannah Bananas; he’s also a prolific content creator known for his macro baseball insights and captivating storytelling on family, relationships, food, and the journey of coming-of-age. The full cast of celebrities and professional dancers will be announced on Wednesday, Sep. 2, exclusively on Good Morning America.
Returning to DWTS for Season 35 are co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, as well as judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

In other Dancing with the Starsnews, the premiere date for Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, hosted by last year’s winner Robert Irwin, was revealed to be July 13 and will feature 12 up-and-coming dancers who will live in a house together and compete in a grueling audition process. The winner will land a coveted spot as a pro dancer on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
DWTSfan favorite Mark Ballas and his mother Shirley Ballas have been set to judge the competition.
Dancing with the Stars will simulcast LIVE this fall on ABC and Disney+ and stream next day on Hulu.
