Rihanna appears to be squashing any speculation that she and ASAP Rocky were arguing after the Met Gala.
On Thursday (May 7), RiRi took to X to share a clip of her and Rocky on the night of the gala. The 45-second clip shows the two stepping out on the red carpet together, as well as other highlights, including Rihanna getting ready and her and her boo having fun with their friends in the sprinter.
The happy snaps are a stark contrast from the rumors that started the same night.
Earlier this week, the celebrity couple had fans thinking there was trouble in paradise when a viral video of them in a Sprinter van showed what looked like an emotional conversation. However, insiders later said that the interaction was simply a result of extreme exchaustion after a long day and not an argument or serious conflict. Sources added that Rihanna and Rocky are in a good place and that the situation has been overanalyzed.
Rihanna and Rocky are always singing each other’s praises in the media. Last month, the Don’t Be Dumb rapper shared why he’s so smitten with his partner, with whom he shares 7-month-old daughter, Rocki, and sons 3-year-old RZA and 2-year-old Riot.
Rocky explained that Rihanna has “changed a lot because she became a mother” within the last few years, although she’s remained the same at her core.
“But this woman has always been magic,” he added. “Philosophically, the way she operates is on another level. She is the most charming and genuine person on Earth. Her energy is unmatched—one of a kind. I just adore her.”
